Welcome to Roller Derby

Thank you for registering with the Fort McMurray Roller Derby League. Here is some important information you will need.

General

All members require liability insurance. It is $55 for the year (or $30 for four months) and can be purchased here

Roller Derby Canada

If you have full gear already, please bring it for the first practice. Otherwise gear can be bought at any of the stores listed on our website. Roller blades can only be used for the first 3 months, the skills we teach are Roller derby specific and do not translate well to roller blades. Make sure you have a skate helmet and not a bike helmet. We do have some gear we can lend out. You can message the Fort McMurray Roller Derby Facebook page or email info@fmrollerderby.com if you would like to borrow gear.

Ensure your gear fits properly. Here is a guide to fitting your helmet.
